The Opportunity
Our brief was to generate coverage for this new tattoo studio and position it as premium destination for tattoo art.
The Solution
Impact PR developed a comprehensive PR plan to target general news and consumer media in New Zealand. We drafted a press release indicating how the tattoo industry was thriving in the recession and pitched this as an exclusive story before disseminating it to key media. This resulted in widespread coverage for The Tattooed Heart across television, radio, print and online media.
Impact PR also drafted a press release about tattoo tourism and another that focused on the ranges of stock available in-store. These were both issued to media achieving successful targeted consumer coverage.
