With a lively, fresh palate and delicate bubbles encasing vibrant melon and apple flavours, balanced with a touch of sweetness, the new Waipara Hills Southern Cuvée is the spirit of the south and the life of the party!
 
But don’t just take our word for it – Waipara Hills Southern Cuvée has already been awarded a Bronze medal at the Liquorland International Wine Competition 2010! The refreshing Cuvée is also one of the first sparkling Rieslings available in the domestic market.
 
Waipara Hills have a history of success with their invigorating Rieslings, with 39 awards received since 2006, including three Gold medals, 15 Silver medals and 21 Bronze awards.
 
Waipara Hills marketing manager Cathy Wansink says the new Waipara Hills Southern Cuvée represents the soul of the south and its rugged nature.
 
“Waipara Hills Southern Cuvée is testament to the character and complexity our wines are known for. The South Island is a land of extremes – hot days, cool nights; high mountains, low river flats; bright sunshine, heavy snow clouds. It's these contrasts that give our wines their famous intensity,” says Wansink.
