Be Bold But Elegant this Valentine’s Day with Mud House Swan Pinot Noir

Media release; Be Bold But Elegant this Valentine’s Day with Mud House Swan Pinot Noir – for the ultimate statement of romance!

You’ve got the red roses, scented candles and decadent chocolates – now ensure your Valentine’s Day experience is even more romantic with a bottle of 2009 Mud House Swan Pinot Noir.
Skip the expensive night out and snuggle up together with this bold but elegant red wine – the perfect accompaniment to a perfect evening.
From the superior Mud House Swan range of wines, the 2009 Mud House Swan Pinot Noir has notes of dark red fruits and cinnamon spice combine with a background of mocha and crushed herb. Deep crimson red in colour, it’s the ideal wine to share with your special someone.
Mud House marketing manager Cathy Wansink says each wine within the Swan range offers small parcel reserve quality.
“The Swan is our symbol for excellence and purity. Our philosophy is to nurture the grape from vine to wine with as little interference as possible ensuring pure varietal character and flavour.
“Every year the Mud House winemaking team are on the search for the best parcels of fruit they can find, with the intention of crafting a wine good enough to hold the Mud House Swan label. In the case of this Pinot Noir, the fruit was sourced 100% from Central Otago,” she says.
Offering length and structure, the 2009 Mud House Swan Pinot Noir was recently presented with a Blue Gold and Top 100 award at the 2011 Sydney International Wine Competition which helps diners select wines complementary to food and their dining experience.
Using fruit picked at the very peak of its ripeness, this full bodied wine is an ideal partner to roast venison and warm beetroot salad so you don’t have to think twice about what’s on the menu for Valentine’s Day dinner.
The 2010 Mud House Swan Pinot Noir (RRP $36.90) and full range of Mud House wines are available at specialty wine outlets and leading supermarkets nationwide.
