Take Your Pictures to New Heights with the Fujifilm FinePix XP30 with GPS

Media release: No matter where you are, take your pictures to new heights with the Fujifilm FinePix XP30 with GPS – the world’s first water, shock, dust and freeze-proof camera!

Whether you’re off road or off shore, you’ll always know exactly where your photos have been taken with the Fujifilm FinePix XP30 with GPS.

The latest addition to the Fujifilm FinePix family, the XP30 GPS Camera is the world’s first water, shock, dust and freeze-proof camera featuring built-in GPS functionality- perfect for taking up the slopes, mountain biking, hiking or even kayaking!

With on-board GPS, you’ll never forget again where your magnificent shots were taken. The GPS function creates Geo Tags which display latitude and longitude coordinates or place names on files, pinpointing the exact location a photo or video was taken – perfect if you want to return to the exact same spot one day.

Other exciting features that come with the GPS camera function include plotting your route with pictures on Google Maps™ via My FinePix Studio, being able to search for images according to place names and pre-selecting images from specific locations to create personalised Photobook travel albums.

But the GPS function isn’t the only thing that makes this rugged camera perfect for any adventure loving enthusiast. Built to withstand even the toughest conditions, the XP30 has a shockproof bumper design that shields the LCD screen, a reinforced glass lens cover, anti-slip rubber grip and even LED lights that help you see your way in the dark!

Plus, you’ll never be left guessing whether you need to have your flash on or off with the natural light and with flash mode, which takes two photos in quick succession, one with the flash on and one without.

Other features packed into this handy little 14 megapixel compact camera include Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens and 28mm wide angle, CCD-shift image stabilisation, motion panorama mode and auto tracking focus that keeps fast moving subjects in frame and in focus.
Add to that SR auto function, which automatically recognises six of the most commonly photographed scenes and optimises camera settings accordingly, and you’re guaranteed to get great pictures frame after frame.

And we all know that the minute you get back from your travels, everyone is desperate to see your photos, which is even easier to do on the FinePix XP30. The camera’s Facebook and YouTube uploader makes for effortless uploading when you’re connected to My FinePix Studio through your computer.

Available in four funky colours – black, blue, green and orange – the XP30 will truly take your pictures to new heights.
